Back again after 6 years. And my 4 star review holds true. It's a very average New York Slice. If you're not familiar with NYC pizza, maybe it's a 5. But if you've had some of the best the city has to offer, this is in a tier below.

I did a pizza crawl through Long Island and Brooklyn. This place was my favorite. At first glance, it looked like they went skimpy on the cheese, but once I bit into it I quickly realized it was perfectly balanced. I absolutely loved it. Yum. Visually appealing. No flop. Crispy and chewy crust. Delicious cheese and sauce. Great price. No complaints. I got a regular slice and didn't add any garlic, pepper or parm. It was excellent the way it was straight out of the oven.

Small, vibrant and extremely bustling spot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn serving elevated wood fired pizza. Best Pizza is just a handful of 9+ ever given out by @onebite review and IMHO; definitely lived up to the score.

This place is way better than the 3.8 Stars it has on Yelp. It's in my humble opinion one of the best pizzarias not only in Brooklyn, but all of NY. I think what really sets it apart from the others is just how well it does every single slice. If you've ever seen Frank Pinello's (the owner) videos on YouTube or his series on Vice, you'd know he's the real deal and is very passionate about pizza. Frank captured the 80's-90's pizza joint vibe perfectly, from the sign outside, to the menu inside. It's one of the cooler things about the place. There's so many places that attempt to do this and it comes off as cheesy. Not here. And the pizza is even better than the aesthetic. You cannot go wrong with any slice on the menu. Thin, crispy, full of flavor. You can tell quality ingredients are used with each bite. There's been a lot of thought put into what makes a perfect slice of pizza and the crew here is able to check all of those boxes. One thing is for certain "Best Pizza" is appropriately named and is indeed one of the best the city has to offer.
